In early 2020, Paramount Legal Costs Ltd in Carlisle commissioned Eden Valley Contracts to refurbish its Kingstown offices, creating a more open plan design and covering all aspects of infrastructure updating, including IT wiring and ceilings.
Mike and Greig put together a detailed plan with the Paramount team and ensured that others in the shared building had minimal disruption during the refurbishment process. In all, four different specialist contractors were involved in the project: joiners, electricians, decorators and carpet fitters. Mike and Greig ensured that the whole project ran smoothly, kept to budget and, just as important, kept to schedule.
The practical refurbishment process was completed within six weeks and within Paramount’s budget for the work. Since completion, the business has been affected by lockdown and other COVID-19 restrictions and has found the new design and open plan office layout ideal for social distancing measures to be in place.
