Car Showroom Work

Background

Over a long career working on construction projects for the motor industry, Mike Noble has built a strong reputation for reliability, effective project management and his own practical skills. A majority of Mike’s work has been as a sub-contractor for Chiltern Construction and Design Ltd.

Approach

Both Mike and Greig have a thorough understanding of the specific demands and practical challenges of motor showroom new build and refurbishment. In the past ten years, one or both of them has worked on projects across the country, including Honda Edinburgh, Renault Cornwall and Skoda Plymouth. For each project, their attention to detail, practical workmanship and ability to motivate and manage a wide range of specialist tradespeople and contractors has been recognised by the clients and by Chiltern Construction and Design Ltd.

Outcome

Mike and Greig now work together very much as a team, each with different core skills but also with a shared approach to managing large projects, whether new builds or refurbishments, car showrooms, offices or other commercial buildings.

“I started out shop-fitting and have developed my knowledge and experience across a range of trades over the years, adding the project development aspect more recently. Greig trained as an electrician and now, working together and separately, is at the point where he’s managing bigger projects himself – and we share the same high standards.”
